It all started in a stable but rigid world. In an office where the rhythm of the day was regulated by an 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule, and our daily work consisted of keeping the corporate machine running. The ZanReal team (still informal at the time) consisted of a miracle-working programmer and a wordsmith.

Relative financial stability gave us the opportunity to explore – we took on small external projects. And that's when we saw how full of compromises the market was. We had to create the best possible solutions, and then integrate them with half-measures: for example, unstable hosting that ruined performance or procedures that forced us to compromise on quality. In other words, our knowledge and work were limited by weak links.

We saw good ideas get lost in a maze of procedures. We saw great technical solutions lose their shine because someone in the decision-making chain decided that ‘this will do’.

And we wanted something more – projects that were refined, meaningful, done from start to finish with heart and responsibility.

The idea for ZanReal was born out of this need. Out of the conviction that it is possible to work differently – honestly with ourselves and our clients.

We started with small orders, done after hours, which quickly turned into something bigger. Each subsequent project confirmed our belief that it was worth taking matters into our own hands. ZanReal had to be created to provide customers with the quality that was lacking in the broadly understood digital services industry.

And so, after resolving the personal issues that were blocking us from taking this step, we opened our doors.

We won't hide the fact that the beginnings were not easy.

The road to complete freedom is long and requires sacrifice. Our story is still one of change, in which we prove our determination and commitment every day. For many months, we lived in two-job mode: during the day – working in the office, and in the evening – developing ZanReal. Added to this was the irritating, repetitive bureaucracy involved in setting up a company, which took up our precious time and energy.

There was fatigue, there were doubts, but there was also a lot of laughter and litres of coffee.

But with each subsequent project, our faith and experience grew. The challenges we faced taught us maximum efficiency and precise management. We became masters of time management – we are living proof that it is possible to live, work on several fronts and not go mad.

Today, we know that those difficult moments were an investment – not only in the company, but also in our dream future.

Because ZanReal is not just a business. It is a space where we can create in our own way, in harmony with our rhythm and values.
