Website in 24 Hours or a Custom Website Project: Which Should You Choose?

Are you planning a new business website but unsure which route to take? You could launch a simple brochure site quickly or commission a larger website with a custom design and multiple pages. The first option gets you online faster and usually costs less. The second requires a bigger budget but offers more flexibility when you need a distinctive look, a more complex structure or additional features. We compare both approaches and explain when each one makes sense.

Start with one question: what should your website do?

Before comparing prices and timelines, think about why customers will visit your website and what they should find there. Is it enough for them to review your offer, see a few examples of your work and find your phone number? Or should they also be able to book an appointment, create an account, calculate the cost of a service or visit an online store?

The simpler the journey from landing on the website to getting in touch, the smaller the website can be. A local service business or a new brand often does not need a dozen pages at the outset. A well-designed one-page website may be all you need to present the business professionally and start directing potential customers to it.

A wider range of services, different audience groups and additional features require more planning. Simply adding more sections is not enough. You need to consider the structure, navigation, individual page layouts and how the website will grow over time.

Website in 24 Hours: when is a quick launch the right choice?

Website in 24 Hours is designed for businesses that need a small website and do not want to delay the launch until every asset is ready. You do not need finished copy, a logo or a complete visual identity. A short description of your business, your offer and the preferred contact method is enough to get started.

The Starter package costs $275 net. It includes a one-page website designed for desktop and mobile devices, together with the basic technical setup for SEO and AI search. The price also includes:

  • the first year of hosting at no additional cost,

  • a basic domain for the first year if you do not already have one,

  • launch support,

  • a private preview and one revision round before publication.

After the first year, hosting costs $25 net per year. Domain renewal is charged according to the registrar’s current price list.

The “24 hours” refers to the private preview of a simple website. We do not publish a finished project without consulting you first. You review the proposed version and send us your comments. We make the agreed changes within the included revision round, and the website goes live only after your approval.

When is a ready-made package not enough?

Website in 24 Hours is a strong choice when you need an online brochure, want to launch quickly and only need a straightforward way to present your offer. If the website must describe many services, include a blog or product comparison tool, and also support purchases or appointment bookings, the scope becomes much larger. In that case, a small one-page website will not be enough. A custom website project is the better choice when you need:

  • multiple pages or separate sections for different customer groups,

  • a custom visual design aligned with your brand identity,

  • an online store, booking system, user accounts or other features such as a product comparison tool or price calculator,

  • connections to tools used by your business,

  • multiple language versions,

  • an advanced content management panel,

  • a large amount of content migrated from your existing website.

How does a custom website project work?

There is no single fixed process for a custom website because the work depends on the company’s needs. The first step is to define the website’s goals, content and features. These decisions shape the page structure and visual design, followed by development. If the website connects to other tools, additional time is needed for configuration and for checking that data is transferred correctly.

More flexibility means more decisions. You can tailor the layout to your offer, plan different paths for different customers and decide how your team will update content. You should also allow time to discuss the design, prepare materials, submit feedback and test the website before launch.

What about the cost? The number of pages is only one factor. A custom visual design, additional features, integrations, language versions and the content management setup also affect the price. This is why the timeline and cost of a custom project are confirmed only after the full scope has been defined. You pay for a solution tailored to your actual requirements rather than for a fixed package.

Can a simple website be expanded later?

If you are not ready to start with a custom project, you can launch a small website first and expand it when the need arises. However, adding a new service description or form is very different from changing how the entire website works.

If the company adds another service, a new section or page may be enough. If booking, customer accounts, an online store or an extensive content library become necessary later, the website may require a substantial rebuild or a new project. There is no reason to pay for every possible feature in advance, but it helps to know which features may be needed in the near future.

Website in 24 Hours or a custom project: which is right for your business?

The choice mainly depends on the planned size of the website, the features you need, your budget and how quickly you want to launch.

Choose Website in 24 Hours if:

  • you want to start presenting your offer online quickly,

  • you need a small one-page website,

  • you want to know the final price before work begins,

  • you do not yet have finished copy, a logo or other materials,

  • a clear presentation of the business and an easy way to contact you are enough,

  • you do not need custom features or complex integrations.

Choose a custom website project if:

  • your offer requires multiple pages and a more complex structure,

  • you want to work with a designer on a custom visual concept,

  • a simple presentation of the offer and contact details is not enough,

  • you need an online store, booking, user accounts or connections to other systems,

  • the scope must be defined individually because your company has specific requirements,

  • you plan to offer several language versions or publish a large amount of content regularly.
