Cloudflare setup for websites, media and security

Cloudflare plays several roles in our work: the CDN cache in front of static documentation, R2 storage for video-heavy sites, image delivery for a blog, and one of the providers in a multi-cloud design.

What we do with Cloudflare

Media storage and delivery

The iShots Wedding and Hareborne sites keep their footage in Cloudflare R2, and Pyszne Szlaki serves its photos through Cloudflare Images, so they stay sharp on every screen.

Pre-rendered pages from cache

The Valibot and Formisch docs are generated at build time and served from a CDN cache, so opening a page never waits on a server.

One part of a wider setup

In multi-cloud work we design systems across AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Cloudflare for resilience and to avoid lock-in, without adding complexity for its own sake.
