Supabase development for web apps and internal tools

Supabase gives a project PostgreSQL, authentication and storage without standing up each piece separately. It is in the stack of our web app, business system and AI offerings, and our own open source supports it.

What we do with Supabase

Applications and internal systems

For web apps and business systems, Supabase is one of the backends we choose from. The alternative is plain PostgreSQL, and the deciding question is how much ready-made platform the project really needs.

Sessions in Next.js

The NEMO docs show how to run Supabase session refresh inside a middleware chain, so refreshed cookies reach the response and the functions after it see the signed-in user.

Local development

Our dev container has a Supabase CLI feature. Open a project with a Supabase config in it, and the local stack is restarted when the container starts.

Supabase in our services

Offerings that list Supabase in their stack.

Open source and docs

Our own packages and guides where Supabase does the work.

Other technologies
